Sisi Museum
In the Imperial Apartments, visitors are guests of Austria’s most famous royal couple. The 19 work, living, and reception rooms of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Sisi are furnished in an historically authentic style and offer a glimpse into 19th-century courtly traditions and the imperial way of life.
From October 6 through November 18, the final phase of the Sisi Museum’s renovation will take place. During this period, modified hours of operation will be in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ticket office closes at 4:00 p.m.), and a reduced ticket price will apply. The museum section of the Sisi Museum will be closed during this time. However, the authentic living quarters continue to offer an impressive glimpse into the lives of Franz Joseph and Elisabeth at the imperial court.
